It depends on the holder. Jaw cradles list a width range where the supplier provided one; magnetic holders need a MagSafe-style ring in the phone or case; every product page says what was verified and what wasn't. Check your phone with its case against the listing before ordering.

Favor mounts that support the phone from below (side jaws plus lower feet or ledges) with short arms, mounted low on a smooth part of the dash or on a vent slat with room behind it.
